Rin & Orchid

Rin has always been curious about the world around her. She could spend hours watching processions of ants carrying leaf cuttings in their mandibles, taking a siesta with a family of wombats or playing chase with mischievous ocelots. No harm ever seemed to come to her in the Nutsuwa Forest, despite its many dangers. Only later did she discover the reason why she was so safe. A Chimera was watching over her, the same Tumult Entity who had entrusted her to her adoptive father when she was still a baby. Her whole life, the creature – a hybrid of praying mantis and orchid – had been secretly protecting her. Orchid told her that she came from beyond Asgartha. With this revelation, Rin now intends to discover the truth behind her origins.
