Reading time
At the end of November, with the delay of the Marketplace and Print-on-Demand services, we announced our intention to invite you to a closed beta to gather as much feedback as possible before launching these services in early 2025.
Why a Closed Beta for the Marketplace and Print-on-Demand?
Given the international scope of these services, it’s crucial to ensure the smooth operation of the Marketplace and Print-on-Demand across the various configurations required for buying, selling cards, and receiving Print-on-Demand shipments within the best delivery times.
For this reason, we’re opening registration today for a closed beta that will allow you to test these features before anyone else, starting in January. From our side, your valuable feedback will help us refine and streamline our services before their launch in early 2025.
We’ve opted for a closed beta to be able to best answer the questions and needs of our first users. Throughout this beta period, you will have the opportunity to submit feedback directly through the app. Our support team will be available if you encounter difficulties, and the limited number of users will enable us to respond as quickly as possible.
What Does the Closed Beta Entail?
During this beta testing phase for the Marketplace and Print-on-Demand services, we aim to test and collect your feedback on the following aspects:
- Server stability
- Adding and withdrawing funds from your Wallet
- Finding, buying, and selling cards to another player
- Ordering, tracking, and receiving cards purchased via Print-on-Demand
- Bugs encountered while using these features
- Ease of use for the new services (ergonomics, UI/UX)
- Understanding the system (pricing, fees, and timelines)
- User satisfaction with the new services (do they meet your expectations, and how can we improve them)
⚠️ For this stage of development, we’ve decided to implement only the most essential features of the Marketplace and Print-on-Demand services. Initially, our focus will be on fixing existing functionality to ensure the service works properly, followed by the addition of new features in the coming months.
At this time, it will not be possible to print Promo cards or exclusive Alt Art cards.

How to Register?
The ability to apply for the closed beta is available to everyone in the eligible countries but does not guarantee access to the service. To process your feedback and questions as efficiently as possible, we will proceed with several waves of admission, starting with a small number of users and gradually increasing participation daily throughout the beta.
Eligibility
-
Europe: all EU countries, the United Kingdom, Switzerland
-
North America: United States, Canada
-
Oceania: Australia, New Zealand
To maximize our efforts and ensure the shortest beta phase possible, we are deliberately limiting the number of countries who will be initially able to access these services. Additional countries will be added later, based on their specific tax complexities. Unfortunately, we cannot provide a timeline at this stage.
The beta will be accessible via our website altered.gg, on both desktop and mobile, in English and French. Print-on-Demand will be available in the following languages: English, French, German, Spanish, and Italian.
Registration
1 - Complete our registration form
Fill out the following form to join the waitlist and submit your profile for the Altered Marketplace and Print-on-Demand beta. The form requires information about your Altered account in order to grant access rights.
The form is available in both English and French (simply change the site’s language to access your preferred version).
2 - Sign the NDA we email you
If selected, you will receive an email asking you to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement. Once we receive your signed NDA, you will receive a second confirmation email containing our Terms and Conditions for this beta. Reviewing these terms is necessary before you start using the application. They will provide all the information you need regarding using the Marketplace and Print-on-Demand, submitting feedback, and whom to contact in case of issues.
Registration remains open throughout the beta. If you do not receive a confirmation email at the beta’s launch, you may still be selected during subsequent daily admission waves.
Please complete the form only once; duplicate submissions will invalidate your registration.
Can I Share the Information I’ll Access?
It’s important to note that the services and information you’ll access during this closed beta are not final and may be subject to change. For this reason, we have chosen not to make Marketplace and Print-on-Demand information public at this stage.
By signing our NDA, you agree to review the Terms and Conditions for using the Marketplace and Print-on-Demand and not disclose the information you’ll have access to.
