Tell us your story with "altered". How did you discover the game and why did you like it?

I discovered the game over a year ago, when a few lucky people in my local store were able to take part in playtests of a new project still in development at the time. Hearing about a potential future TCG made in France, my curiosity was piqued and I managed to join a playtesting session to discover the game. The pleasure of playing something different, the aspect of discovering a new world and the absence of direct "combat" with an opponent immediately appealed to me.

From that point on, I gobbled up everything I could about Equinox, meeting several members of the team and multiplying test sessions to familiarize myself with the game and its lore - a very important element for me. Since then, the hype has never died down.

What have you done in the community?

As a content creator, I think I was one of the first (if not the first?) to present the game on YouTube in France. I absolutely had to share my hype with as many people as possible!

Later, when the kickstarter was launched, I set myself the challenge of organizing the first French-speaking tournament of the game online via the simulator. As I'm a fan of competition and good fights, I quickly found my feet and the event brought together over 160 players on discord for more than three weeks of competition in a warm and friendly atmosphere. There was nothing at stake in this tournament other than the pleasure of getting together and discovering altered's potential in a competitive environment. I'm delighted!

What's your favorite card and faction? Why?

I really like Ordis for its faithfulness to duty and service to the common good, but I must admit I have a particular affinity for Yzmir, on the one hand for the purple color I like and on the other for its controlled gameplay that gives me a lot of pleasure in the game (is this where I say I always choose the wizard class in video games? Ahah).

My favorite card will naturally be Baba Yaga in its rare version, for its magnificent illustration but also because it represents everything that makes a good card in my opinion: good stats at a decent cost and the ability to draw: everything we love ahahah!

What are you looking forward to in the future of the game?

Like everyone else, I'm eagerly awaiting the store release to start playing with my friends! I'm also looking forward to getting my ks crack and opening up the world's most beautiful one-offs!

But above all, as a competition fan, I can't wait for the launch of the organized game, the creation of the competitive scene and to be able to give my voice to commenting on superb altered matches to continue sharing my passion around me and bringing the game and its emotions to life for the community that follows me on the internet!

Long live the game!
