Tell us your story with "Altered". How did you discover the game and why did it appeal to you?

My journey to Asgartha and the Tumult actually began with Mysterium, Dixit, and Dice Throne. I follow TCG's and boardgames quite a bit and discovered Regis was leading a team to create Altered so I knew I just had to be a part of the game's community right away. I've been following it since it's was announced and backed it immediately. I love the fact that Altered isn't your typical battle TCG. Having a TCG that has board game elements that is simple to learn and hard to master is one of the reasons I enjoy it so much. You also can't ignore the beautiful art from all the artists involved, the cards are absolutely stunning.

What have you done in the community?

I joined the discord after backing the game and interact with the community daily, even before becoming part of the team I was always trying to answer questions and keep up to date with all the news to make sure no one missed anything since the discord can sometimes be pretty fast paced.

What's your favorite card and faction? Why?

My favorite faction is Lyra with Yzmir coming in almost a tie. I enjoy playing control decks but Lyra is just too fun to not play with it's randomness. I'm a creative at heart since I'm a woodworker so Lyra speaks to me. My favorite card has to be Shenlong or the Ouroboros Inkcaster. I'm really hoping to pull all the different versions of both cards, a big dragon on board and recurring cards is just too good not to run in a deck.

What are you looking forward to in the future of the game?

The thing I'm most excited about is seeing how big the community is going to get and I can't wait for competitive play. I've never been to Paris so hopefully in the future I can make it to world championships and get me there haha. I am looking forward to joining people all over the world enjoying the world of Altered!
